What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a relaxing, naturally occurring state of mind, which happens to us every day. Each time we read a captivating novel or drift off in a daydream we are in hypnosis. Everyone can be hypnotized if they wish to be. For thousands of years people have recognized the power of hypnosis to enhance learning, heal emotional scars, improve performance, change habits and speed the healing process. Science now understands the awesome power of the unconscious mind. The American Medical Association recognizes hypnosis as a valid therapeutic tool. The medical field understands major role “psychological” factors play in illness and healing.

What to expect in a session?

First I will inform you about these techniques and answer all your questions. Once you are fully ready and agree to begin, I will guide you into your healing journey starting with a deep relaxation. During hypnosis and/or Breath Work, direct communication with your unconscious mind is established. You are able to easily communicate with me during the session. You are NOT sleep! You are NOT unconscious! In a hypnotic trance, I will guide you properly so your mind and body are able to accept changes much more readily. In the session, you are always in control. I am coaching you and guiding you through this comfortable, inspiring experience. Your subconscious mind will only accept and act on what is morally accepted by you. After a session, most people experience a wonderful feeling of peace, calmness, joy and relaxation.
